We’re in this weekend’s issue of one of the national Icelandic news papers, DV. And some of my photographs are included.
So I was watching the Christmas episode of QI and noticed Phil Jupitus was wearing a roller derby shirt. Pretty cool, huh?
My lovely Rolluderby mascot was featured in the newest issue of Reykjavík Grapevine, page 29. It’s in English so no worries =D
A compilation of footage from three practice nights with Roller Derby Iceland.
So the roller derby gals of the land of fire and ice are issuing a 2013 calendar. Photographs are taken by a member of the club, and most, if not all, of the work is done by volunteers. If any of my followers (non-followers welcome too, of course) are interested, a copy of the calendar is 2200 ISK (around 18 US dollars) and I’d be happy to ship them out to you, which would be a couple of bucks more. (I’ll update the shipping info once I know the weight of a calendar).
